North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences Ranked Among the Top Four Universities in the 2024 National Health Technology Evaluation

According to the Public Relations Office of the Vice-Chancellor for Research and Technology, the Director of Health Technology Development announced that North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences has been ranked among the top four universities in its peer group in the 2024 National Evaluation of Health Technology Activities.

Dr. Hamidreza Mohaddes Hakaak stated that this achievement is the result of the continuous efforts of the university’s faculty members, inventors, and professionals in the field of health technology, who have been actively engaged in fostering innovation and commercializing technological ideas in the health sector.

He further noted that North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences has attained a higher standing than many Type 2 universities in the country. At the national level, the university ranked 16th in the evaluation of health technology units and 17th in the category of innovative projects among all universities of medical sciences in Iran. Moreover, the university demonstrated outstanding performance in indicators related to technological products, innovative services, and exhibitions and festivals, achieving an overall 28th place nationwide.

Dr. Hakaak added that a total of 72 universities and medical science institutions across the country were assessed in this national evaluation.

He expressed his appreciation to the Health Technology Development Management team for their dedicated efforts and expressed hope that the university’s proactive approach in supporting creative ideas and advancing health technologies will play a significant role in strengthening the innovation and technology ecosystem of North Khorasan Province.
